We are sorry to hear of the changes along the famed Mink Mile which is known as an upscale shopping district in the neighbourhood of Yorkville in Toronto, Canada, along Bloor Street between Yonge Street and Avenue Road and extends to Cumberland and Yorkville Ave. It has been recognized as one of the most luxurious shopping streets in North America, being compared to New York's Fifth Avenue, Chicago's Magnificent Mile, and Los Angeles' Rodeo Drive.
Sadly the Hudson's Bay flagship store will be leaving among other boutiques that have left Bloor St., many retailers have shops in the area including Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Cartier, Rolex, Burberry, Max Mara, Dolce & Gabbana, Escada, Brunello Cucinelli, Christian Louboutin, Tiffany, Coach, Harry Rosen and Holt Renfrew Women's and Men's flagship stores. There are midrange stores, such as Brooks Brothers, Roots, Sephora, H&M, and Aritzia that shoppers of all tastes and budgets can enjoy.
Eataly, Restaurants and 5-Star Hotels
A huge attraction is the famed Eataly, a large Italian marketplace, which operates a flagship store in the newly renovated Manulife Centre. It draws many locals and tourists as does Pusateri's, Yorkville Village shopping centre, fine restaurants and several 5-star hotels in the neighbourhood.
